South County Design Group, Inc. is a separate and independent Rhode Island corporation that maintains its own professional engineering license and insurance. SCDG is the engineering service provider on NJ&J Builders projects requiring licensed structural or civil engineering. Engineering and construction are different professions with different licensing and liability requirements; this separation ensures each function is performed by a firm that is licensed, insured, and accountable for that scope alone.
